LIVEXIO

Privacy Policy

Effective date: 26 September 2026

This policy explains how Livexio handles information when you sign in, connect a channel, host or join a studio, stream, record, or use live chat. [LEGAL BUSINESS NAME] operates Livexio and can be contacted at [PRIVACY EMAIL ADDRESS] or [BUSINESS POSTAL ADDRESS].

1. Information we handle

  • Account and sign-in: your account identifier and the name, email address, and profile image made available when you sign in with Google or another supported provider.
  • Connected destinations: channel, Page or profile identifiers, names, images, connection status, granted permissions, and encrypted access or refresh credentials needed to use the destinations you connect, including Google/YouTube and Meta/Facebook. We receive only data within the permissions you authorize and the platform makes available.
  • Studios and broadcasts: titles, descriptions, schedules, selected destinations, privacy and stream settings, stream status, provider broadcast IDs, guest participation, live audio/video sent to selected destinations, and recordings when recording is used.
  • Audience interactions: comments, names, timestamps, and supported engagement events returned by connected platforms for a broadcast. Available event types differ by platform and permissions.
  • Technical data: essential sign-in and connection cookies, OAuth state, and server information needed to run, secure, and troubleshoot the service.

2. Why we use this information

We use account and connection data to sign you in, show your connected destinations, and act on your choices to create, manage, and send a stream to those destinations. We use studio media and settings to produce the show, invite guests, record when requested, and display available live engagement to the host. We use technical data to keep accounts and broadcasts working and secure.

Where UK or EU data protection law applies, the principal basis for account, connection, studio, and broadcast processing is providing the service you request (contract). We may use necessary security and diagnostic information for our legitimate interests in operating a secure service, and retain information when a legal obligation applies. A platform authorization allows access to that platform's data; you can withdraw that access through its controls.

3. Platforms, guests, viewers, and service providers

When you select a destination and start a broadcast, the chosen platform receives the video, audio, title, settings, and other information needed to publish it. Its own visibility rules and privacy controls determine who can watch or interact there. Guests may be visible or audible in the show when the host puts them on stage. The host can see participating guests and supported live comments from selected destinations.

We use infrastructure and other service providers to host the app, store information, and deliver streams. They process information to provide those services. We may disclose information if required by law. Connected platforms process content and account data under their own policies:

Livexio may also transmit to a custom RTMP address if you configure one. Check the receiving service's own privacy terms before using that destination.

4. Storage, security, and retention

Livexio stores connected platform credentials in encrypted form and uses restricted server access to operate the connections. No online service can guarantee absolute security. We keep data only for the periods needed for the purposes above or applicable obligations. Specific periods and backup deletion practices: [INSERT ACTUAL RETENTION PERIODS FOR ACCOUNTS, RECORDINGS, CHAT, LOGS AND BACKUPS].

Our hosting and service providers may process information in other countries. The relevant locations and safeguards are: [INSERT HOSTING LOCATIONS AND APPLICABLE INTERNATIONAL TRANSFER SAFEGUARDS].

5. Your choices and rights

You choose which destinations to connect and which of them receive a broadcast. You can disconnect a destination on the Destinations page when it is not being used by an active stream. Disconnecting removes Livexio's stored usable credentials for that destination; a historical channel record may remain to preserve past broadcast records.

You can also revoke Google access in your Google account security settings, or revoke Meta access in your Facebook settings. Revoking platform access and disconnecting in Livexio are separate actions.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive your information, restrict or object to some processing, and complain to a regulator. Contact us at [PRIVACY EMAIL ADDRESS] to make a request. If UK law applies, you may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.

6. Request deletion of your Livexio data

  1. Email [PRIVACY EMAIL ADDRESS] with the subject Livexio data deletion request and identify the Livexio account or connected channel involved.
  2. We will verify that the request comes from the account holder before removing account data, connected platform credentials and authorized platform data held by Livexio, subject to records we must retain by law.
  3. If your request concerns Google or YouTube API data, we will delete the authorized API data held by Livexio within seven calendar days of the request, after verifying ownership as necessary. If you revoke access on Google, contact us at the address above so we can also remove data held by Livexio.

Deleting information held by Livexio does not delete videos, comments, or other content held by YouTube, Facebook, or another destination. Manage that content directly on the platform. If you need help with a Meta data deletion request, use the same email and subject line.

7. Changes and contact

We may update this policy when the service or our practices change. We will post the current version here and update its effective date. For privacy questions or requests, contact [LEGAL BUSINESS NAME] at [PRIVACY EMAIL ADDRESS] or [BUSINESS POSTAL ADDRESS].
